Welcome

Welcome to Feature Selection rambles. This site is intended as a placeholder for my notes on the problem of Feature Selection. This is a closed wiki (wikis are just perfect to organize notes,) but contributions may going to be welcome in the future .

As a first step I will try to just keep some notes of my readings on topics such as data mining, knowledge discovery, and related topics. Then I will organize those notes according to relevance to the problem of Feature Selection, I will look for citations trying to find seminal works on the discipline, I will read those works, and then look again for relevant new papers to read. Notes on the outcomes of those steps will be gathered here.

I expect to come out with a bibliography on the topic, a list of authors, a citation map, a list of conferences and journals on Feature Selection, a collection of links to relevant web resources, and of course, my notes and a literature review.

To start with, this will be an extremely messed up site, but hopefully everything will fit in place as I progress.

You can start by looking at the notes. Comments are welcome!
